• Handcrafted Quality: The remnant wax is 51% beeswax and is lovingly hand-poured and prayed over by women who have received healing through Second Fire ministry work.

The source material for our candles—the charred, used, and destine-to-be-discarded remnants of liturgical candles—holds a powerful symbolism for the women we serve.

Like these once-holy candles, many women who come to Second Fire feel used up, marred by past choices, and destined to be set aside or discarded. Their original, sacred purpose feels lost, leaving them feeling unworthy to stand in the light of God.

But here, a Second Fire begins.

We take the remnant wax, clean it, purify it, and melt it down completely. In this process, the past is dissolved, and the material is prepared for a new purpose. The candle is then hand-poured into a new vessel, becoming a new creation.

This transformation is the heart of our ministry. Through Christ's mercy, our women are welcomed, purified, and remade. They discover they are not disposable, but profoundly worthy of God's love.
